LEGAL NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Clallam Transit will hold a public hearing to receive public input and comments on two proposed changes to the system's fare structure during the regular meeting of the Board on Monday, July 19, 2010. The public meeting will begin at 1:00 at the Sequim Transit Center, 152 West Cedar Street, Sequim, Washington. The public is encouraged to attend the public meeting and hearing and provide testimony. Estes Named Best in CTS Bus Roadeo Competition. Transit Operator Larry Estes took first place in Clallam Transit System annual bus roadeo competition in Port Angeles on Sunday, June 13. This was Larry's second consecutive year of taking top honors. CLICK Here for more info.
Public Transit Revises Fare Structure; Eliminates Some Holiday Bus Service. On July 1, Clallam Transit System will implement a new fare structure that will affect all cash fares for fixed-route, dial-a-ride, and paratransit services. CLICK Here for more info.
New Online Bus Trip Planner for Clallam County Google Transit. The Clallam Transit System recently launched an online bus trip planner via the Google Transit Partner Program, Google Transit, a function of Google Maps, allows users to enter their starting and ending location online and receive walking, transit, and driving directions. Transit "Summer Youth Pass" Program Offers Olympic Peninsula Travel. The "Summer Youth Pass" is designed to encourage more youth ridership on system buses and to respond to requests for a discounted summer pass for young people.
