For Release: Immediate

Clallam Transit System is implementing its annual fall service schedule as follows. The regular fall changes include:

  • Route No. 10 — Joyce: On Tuesday, September 4, the first morning bus (Monday-Friday) on its return trip to Port Angeles began to deviate on Laurel Street to serve the Port Angeles High School. Only the first trip inbound from Joyce goes past the high school. This route will utilize the new bus stop by the Crescent school on Highway 112 and not go into the school parking lot.
  • Route No. 14 — Forks: Beginning on Monday, September 24, this service resumes its regular afternoon routing outbound from Port Angeles via Peninsula College. Afternoon departures from the Oak Street transfer point are at 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m.

Other schedule and route changes going into effect on Monday, September 24, include:

  • Route No. 17 — Forks Shuttle: A new weekday trip is being added and the route will be revised slightly. A new trip is being added to depart the Forks Transit Center at 6:40 a.m. and return at 7:10 a.m. This will allow passengers in the City of Forks to reach the transit center to catch the first Route No.15 bus to La Push and to make connections at the transit center to travel into Port Angeles. The routing is being changed so buses will now go north on Forks Avenue (Highway 101) from Calawah Way to Campbell and then use Campbell to Sol Duc Way.

Clallam Transit System service schedules are available now at all bus pass outlets, bus schedule locations, and on all system buses
