Ride to Hurricane Ridge with Clallam Transit!

Please note that passengers must show a valid entrance pass and pay applicable CTS fare prior to boarding.

Entrance passes purchased online can be printed or displayed on an electronic device. The "America the Beautiful" and "Olympic National Park Pass" allows the holder and three other persons (16 and older) to enter the park.

CTS Fares (one-way):


CTS fare can be paid with cash (exact amount needed, drivers to not carry change), Token Transit (mobile ticketing app), or tickets available for purchase at the CTS admin facility.


*Youth ages 16 through 18 must present photo identification to verify age. Valid school ID includes CTS issued youth ID, drivers license, school ID, or any state issued ID. Peninsula College students must present school ID card with expiration date prior to boarding. Veterans must present CTS issued ID card.

Schedule includes holidays. Buses are first come, first serve with mo reservations. Schedule subject to change.


Hurricane Ridge Information

  • For summer 2025, there will not be daily vehicle limitations. The shuttle will bypass any waiting lines for entrance.
  • Restroom facilities will be available.
  • No gift shop or food services will be provided.

Route Information

  • Bikes

    Bus racks are provided on this route but on a first come, first serve basis. Learn more about bringing your bike on the bus here. Bike lockers are available to rent hourly or daily at the Gateway Transit Center through the Movatic. Download the app at www.movatic.co

  • Bus Information

    There are no restroom facilities on board. Restrooms are available at the Gateway Transit Center and at the top of Hurricane Ridge.

      

    Luggage space is limited. Luggage larger than a carry-on bag is not recommended. Passenger space takes priority over luggage space.

      

    Strollers must be collapsed prior to boarding and remain stowed throughout the journey.

      

    Pets must be placed in a secure pet container with a lid and may not restrict passenger space.

  • Connections

    Allow extra travel time when making important connections.  Clallam Transit assumes no responsibility for providing additional transportation or accommodations in the event of missed connections.


    Hurricane Ridge Shuttle makes connections with the Route 123 Strait Shot bus and Black Ball Ferry Line. 


    Allow at least 30 minutes for customs when transferring to the Black Ball Ferry Line to Victoria B.C.

  • Free Park Entrance Days

    Fees are waived at Olympic National Park on the following days:

    • Thursday, June 19 — Juneteenth National Independence Day 
    • Monday, August 4 — The Great American Outdoors Act Signing Day

  • Parking

    Free parking is available at the Gateway Transit Center in the underground east parking garage, located under the Pavilion. Vehicle height capacity is 7’2”. Access to the underground parking is via the entrance off East Railroad Avenue between The Rail and Moby Duck restaurants.
