Zero-fare effective January 1, 2025

Until further notice, zero-fare applies to all routes excluding the Route 123 Strait Shot, the seasonal Hurricane Ridge Shuttle, and Clallam Connect rides outside of the service area.

  • $3.75 per mile fare is charged for rides originating or terminating more than three quarters of a mile outside the CTS fixed-route service corridor.

    Clallam Transit buses are not equipped to accept electronic payment. Accepted forms of payment accepted include:

    • Cash
    • Token Transit app 
    • Strip tickets (purchase from CTS in-person, by mail, or over the phone.)

    Regional Reduced Fare Permit (RRFP): Clallam Transit issued picture ID card that gives Seniors (65+) and passengers with disabilities the ability to receive a reduced rate on routes. Learn more about obtaining an RRFP card here.


    Youth: Ages 16-18 may be asked to present photo ID to verify age. Valid ID includes drivers license, school ID, or CTS issued youth card.


    Peninsula College Students: Credit earning students must present Peninsula College ID.


    Veterans: Must present CTS issued Veterans ID card. Learn more about obtaining a Veterans ID here.
