Samantha Paulsen, Customer Service Representative
The first nomination reads, “Sam has, from the start, been an exemplary employee. She excels at customer service and has taken on relief dispatching almost immediately. She is a staple to the paratransit department and makes drivers and others feel supported. She also has taken on the Secretary for the EA. I believe her presence is a big factor in the participation and success of the last chili cook-off."
Her second nomination reads, "I would like to nominate Samantha Paulsen for jumping on board from the minute she got here. Sam always has a ‘can-do’ energy and brings great ideas to the table. Sam hits the ground running, is very adaptable and always offers exceptional customer service. She uses a kind and understanding tone and composure to the riders that need TLC. Sam is patient and resourceful with her public customers as well as her fellow employees. Sam is always team-oriented and willing to help out or assist with anything. She listens and then suggests resolution or brings in additional resources if needed. Sam is professional and yet lighthearted. Sam is an awesome addition to our CTS team and great representation of the Paratransit Customer Service Representative position. This 1st quarter of 2026, Sam stepped up as secretary for the EA and her contribution to that board is very appreciated and effective. Thank you, Sam, for your team spirit and roll up you sleeves and get the job done attitude."

Dante' Ruiz, Fixed-route Operator
His first nomination reads, “Dante' is a consistent positive influence in CTS. Dante is instrumental in keeping the gears of the CTS machine running. From training new recruits, to covering for dispatch, to operating a bus in a manner that benefits CTS and is a pleasure to the public, Dante is the pinnacle of a prize employee and deserves CTS Employee of the Year.”
Another nomination reads, "Dante' is a great example for other employees to emulate. He follows CTS procedures, enforces passenger conduct, drive safely and efficiently, and is extremely reliable. Dante' also shows drive and a want to move up in the company be relief dispatching and by doing an excellent job training new driver. Dante' is a great example of how a CTS employee should be.”
